At 14.25 hrs. this Friday afternoon BAe-146 G-BPNT of Flightline in the new VLM-livery landed at Rotterdam Airport.
She is currently parked at spot "D3" and this weekend she can easily be photographed from the panorama terrace at the Airport Restaurant in the terminal building. You will not need longrange-lenses.
Click at http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29865
and at
http://www.scramble.nl/airports/publish/ehrd.htm for local photographic vantage points.

Parking can be done for free (and legal!) at P1 and P3 from 10.00 till 16.00 tomorrow during the "free-entrance" aviation fair Dutch Spotters Convention. Just remember to visit the Airnieuws-stand to have your parking card stamped.

See rotterdam-airport-free-platform-tours-s ... 21094.html for more details.

have VLM ever done any leasure-flights (the week-ends..) to Southern Europe ?
I'd be interested to learn about their plans to eventually use their AVRO for leasure flights from Antwerp or Rotterdam.Or is this completely out of scope ,since they focus on business-oriented travels?

Hi

foxtrott_lima_yankee:

I don't exactly know anymore how much seats it where, but indeed something around 90 seats. It is after all a quite luxury plane, more legg-space. :D

Best regards: Yannick ;)

... in a 3-2 configuration with a good 31 inch pitch. Quite a difference with Lufthansa's 110 seats in 3-3 config.

Hello

Besides the VLM BAe 146 it's also clearly to see at EBAW airport that VLM is expanding it's fleet. Regullary Fokker 50's with still Dutch (Denim Air) reg. can be spotted. Currently at EBAW is PH-JXM and also PH-FZG wich is already repainted.

Hello,

On www.qaps.nl we can find a new VLM F50 registration : OO-VLT

No pictures for the moment, but i think we can expect them soon...

Anyone knows where this F50 is coming from?

Ok.

I have read somewhere that VLM planned to introduce 2 more BAe 146-300 if the first was successful

Are the two F50's already added to the fleet? And if so, what are the call-signs?
edit: OO-VLT is probably one of them (someone to confirm?)

Anyone knows if they're satisfied with the BAe-146, or is it the early for an opinion? They're using the aircraft for two months now...

Here you have an article of luchtvaartnieuws.nl (in dutch):
'Air France-KLM heeft zinnen gezet op VLM Airlines'

It will not be a merger. AirFrance-KLM will simply buy it and integrate it into AFregional or KLMcityhopper. It's byebye VLM in that case...

I'd hate to see that. VLM has a great branding and reputation, so buying stakes or a codesharing contract would be a better plan then wholly-integrating the airline, I think.
