The source is CO.

Go to www.continental.com and try to book BRU - EWR on 28 March. Once it displays the schedule, you will see under equipment: B777-200

:D

But, let's hope it's true, so we'll finally have a scheduled 777 at BRU, adna also chance to spot marvelous Peter Max over here (still haven't seen it yet myself) !

Hello

Fantastic! I gotta go and see that :P

I'm afraid we will never see it in BRU. Because the Peter Max is just a regular B777-200etops? And this one is a NEW B777-200ER so... I'd also find it GREAT! Who knows , if they send a regular B777-200 to BRU we might get to see it (if it isn't yet repainted :s).

No offense, but all CO 777's are 777-200ER's, also the current 18 frames in the CO fleet including N77014, the one in Peter Max c/s !

So I guess Continental flies to EBBR with a B764 and then MTV pimps it into a B772 for the return flight?

Anyway, just checked again on another PC/server/... and it came up with this;

Hi

Oh , ok thanks Robin Bamps , didn't knew that yet.
I thought it where al just regular B777-200ETOPS planes (like those from United Airlines) , except the couple of new T7's they've recently bought.

In that case I'm certainly hoping just like you to see the Peter Max (I thought it was already repainted in regular CO scheme , so I'm happy to hear it isn't yet.)

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Hi everybody .
If you go for a booking than it's a 777 if you look in the timetable it's a 767 .Maybe they still didn't change the timetable because for the booking they have too.

Well, there still appears to be some uncertainty whether or not CO will use a 777 for its BRU service. According to a good friend of mine :D Galileo indeed has a 777 as equipment, Amadeus still has a 764. Guess we'll know it very soon.

Would save me a ride to AMS to catch PM though ;-)

Best regards,
Ivan

And when I try to book via the CO website (it works by now) I also get B764...

Oh well, just wait and see.

If it's true I still would have prefered a second daily flight in the evening, but that's of course thinking as a traveller, not as a spotter. ;-)

Cheers,

Stij

It's now official: CO will send the B777-200ER to BRU as from 27 March.

When I heard this news I checked their site and indeed, they changed the B764 into a B772.

Indeed, also confirmed now by Amadeus (changed there too).

Very nice ! Can't wait to spot Peter Max :D :D :D

I've never flown a CO T7, but I've heard from others that their 764's are nicer inside.

You know you'd rather fly a US 752 to PHL than a CO 772 to EWR. ;)

I'm sure its much nicer than our 757s or 762s (though Envoy class is still pretty sweet).

I also heard the 767-400 is "customer friendlier" than their big 777.

But don't forget CO will probably use their NEW 777 to BRU.
This 777 is brand new and is fully equipped with a new in flight entertainment system.

So I think this will be an improvement against the classic 767-400.

Since I'm flying a few times a years to EWR... (and was very happy with the 767-400 CO service) I hope the (new) 777 will be an improvement.

greetings,
ATC

PS. I'm also convinced CO realises the upcoming competition with Jet Airways and their brand new airplanes.
