I suscribed two weeks ago and I have just seen this topic.
I'm a french engineering student , my french school is in Toulon, my parents live near Reims and I'm currently doing my last year in Cranfield University as an Erasmus student.
My first two years were mainly on materials engineering and my master of science deals with microsystems & nanotechnology.
I've spent last summer in California (internship at UCLA and holydays) so feel free to ask me questions, if you plan a trip there.
There are some of my pictures here: http://stepha380.spaces.msn.com/photos/ at the bottom of the scroll.
I will have the Air France Ab Initio pilot first exam on September 23rd.
Commercial aviation news and operations are my favorite subject. I don't feel the need to kill others, but I really appreciate the performance of military jets.
You will find several articles on my website but there are all in french (the new ones will be in english as soon as one of my friends lands in Florida to get his CPL).
I commute once a month to Paris so that I've tried EZY, AF, and BA.
My interests are spotting at LTN, during meetings or visiting air museum when my car is ok
P.S: I HATE AIRLINERS.NET FORUMS MOOD. :jumpy:

Welcome very much! I have been puzzled with your sig for the last couple of weeks, you humbly apologise for having to learn the English language while showing very nice control of it at the same time. Honestly, your messages are a pleasure to read, which can't be said for all members, whether French or other. And reading yours I would never have thought you French, most French people are less humble than you though their skills are far less.
So do keep on posting and tell us about your piloting progress
Très chaleureusement,

As I wrote in my first post, I was a candidate to the Air France cadet program, the first test was on September 23rd and I have just received my results, I have succeeded in this one.
There was around 1000 people before and they are classified into 2 lists, the list 1 with all the first 300 people the list 2 with the 300 next.
The whole list 1 will be called for the second part and the list 2 may be called for the second list if necessary.
I will keep you in touch I will be called around November 20th.
