It could be Global Supply Systems... they look just like atlas air but have a slightly different logo on the tail

Sure the Monarch is a 767 and not a 757?

Finally, I managed to shoot some contrails in 2006! :-p

3 pics; 2 known, 1 request...

Cargolux B747-400F
http://coppermine.luchtzak.be/displayim ... ?pos=-7971

Lufthansa A300
http://coppermine.luchtzak.be/displayim ... ?pos=-7970

My request: an A330, but from which company... I already had Egyptair, Cyprus Airways (my biggest bet...), Thomas Cook,... in my mind, but are there things to notice so that I could be sure of the company?
http://coppermine.luchtzak.be/displayim ... ?pos=-7969

Thx for the help
Wim

I see some blue under the elevators (don't know if it's me :p), but the paint on the tails of both Egypt and Cyprus stop before the elevator. So the only chance would be Thomas Cook, but there is no blue belly so :? Don't know
Tot hier en verder

@ Glider.

Cyprus Airways A330, was logged around 1500LT as CY0358 en route LCA-MAN.

Egyptair A330 was logged around 1600LT as MS0777 en route CAI-LHR.

Perhaps next time add a time too, the ones above were logged over England, so deduct around 20 minutes.

My pic of a Cyprus A330 in Oct 2005.

@ Glider,

also possible is an A330 of Iberworld!

check: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0481476/L/

One A330 was flying paramaribo-Amsterdam today, arrivaltime at EHAM was 1026 local time

@Maaspotter: You're right; another possible candidate... It makes it even more difficult for me :-p

@Skystef: it was after 5 PM that I saw the plane flying from west to east. So maybe it's a return flight of one of those that you mentioned...

Regards,
Wim

my first guess would be Thomas cook a320, but they don't have white engines, but they do have a blue belly

Exactly Chris, FlyBE!

Also Austrian Airlines isn't an option...

@Ovostar: this is clearly a B737 and not an A32S...

Okay next time add the direction too, makes it a lot easier, and perhaps try to avoid making belly shots. When I make such shots without a decent chance to identify, they all end in my trash basket.

E bound sector of MS was 1748LT and CY 1740LT, also observed over England. So add around 20 minutes for Belgium.

The Iberworld is no option to me, never saw one cruising W-E or vice versa.

I have a slight favour for CY, I see them often, the MS not a single time.

Seen at sunday 9 april, 20h, above Bornem (somewhere between Antwerp and Brussels). Definetly a 747. First thought was Air Canada... but I doubt it... any idea? and yes indeed , bad quality, forgot to enable digital zoom... PS: It was going eastbound.

Difficult to say... can you put the pics bigger ???

Maybe not:
British Airways
Malaysian
Transaero
South African Airways
Boeing 747-444
China Southern Airlines
One Two Go
Orient Thai Airlines
Global Supply Systems

Maybe ?:
Atlas Air
Lufthansa
MK Airlines
JAL Cargo

It's a B744 of JAL.

This was my shot of an B742(F), just to show the c/s.
