Anybody got an idea if same rw as yesterday will be in use? I think we got 25R / 25L again today.

Currently 17/02 @ 22:15LT =

25L arrivals ; 25R departures
wind 220 degrees 12 knots

So if no major changes in wind direction tomorrow, it will be the same.

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Is it correct that they use 02 for landing and 7R for takeoff today?

Hello

If you don't get a quick reply. You can always try your luck here:

http://www.freewebs.com/brusselsairport ... teobru.htm

although I can't garanty that it's always up to date...but during the weekends it will probably. (if i'm home :D)

the ATIS might change often but the RWY use might be the same for weeks.
I even added a (paint) map in the page. Hope it want take TOO long to upload.

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Nice innitiative, Yannick.

Btw, try to use .gif, .jpg or .png for images on your site. Your current image loads veeeeeery slooooooow (because of the .bmp format).

Hello Jense

Thanks for the positive comment.

I know , if only I knew how to do that. For the moment I wouldn't know what to do instead of the current paint map :D

I don't even know wetter I would be able to do (I have my limits on my site..it is after all a free website :D) unfortunately.

Anyway...at least the ATIS can be read of quickly :d:D

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Out of curiosity: where can you read the ATIS?

I once saw it on the website of Belgocontrol I believe, but that was a long time ago...

Thanks

Hello

(if I CAN post this....) I have a scanner so.

Would be awsome if you could see it at the belgocontrol page!:D
Because I'm afraid that if I move a little more to the North soon , to Herentals , that the reception will be even worse...or maybe nothing.
So I hope I can keep that page on my site open.

Here it must be BUN (Bruno?) Arrival on 110.600Mhz
But that's in the region Westerlo.(Zuiderkempen).

The page I putted it online: http://www.freewebs.com/brusselsairport ... teobru.htm

PS: if the sponsor message appears , just close the window and click the link again , it should appear without a problem.(you can also check 'ATC' for the ATIS)

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Hi guys.

I have a phone number of BIAC that consists of an answering machine with full choice of ATIS messages.
The phone number was on a website of my dear "friends" of UBCNA.
I will try to post it asap.

unilitha wrote: Hi guys, I wanna go to BRU on monday 10/04 but I can't find any forecast about the wind ? Does someone know if the planes are gonna take off from the 07R ? Because it's the only purpose of my visit to BRU this time, it's been a very long time that I haven't seen an airborn from 07R, thanks
On Monday there are good chances for t/o rwy 02/07R.
The long TAF like 100018 01005KT 8000 FEW040 TEMPO 0507 4000 BR PROB30 TEMPO 0507 BKN006 only gives a medium value of the expected speed over 18 hours. Certain limits have to be exeeded to adjust the windspeed in this forecast.

Windforecast in detail says it will rise to around 10KT towards noon, and if a shower with CB passes (which will be included in the next long TAF) gusts up to 18KT. With these values rwy configuration should be changed.

hi!

Next monday i want to go spotting at BRU. It's my first time (i'm a kind of virgin when i comes to that  )
I read the best spotting locations on this website. But i really want to see the flights leaving to the US and Africa in the morning. Where do i have to be to see them (taking off)? Any advices?

Thanks!

Rwy configuration will be 25HR/25L as forecasted winds are between W and NW.
Best spot for t/o is point C, followed by point D: https://www.aviation24.be/article50.html.
Alternatively you can enter the Wingtips bar @ airport self.

I will maybe go to BRU tomorrow. Can anyone tell me what the rwy usage will be for arrival? If 2/20, also include the best way of getting there please.

Winds will be from SSW (no gales), so chances for 25L/25R usage are >80%. Btw, normally it will be raining all day long.
