Those photos were taken down the far end of RWY28 (RWY10!) where there is an embankment which overlooks the fence into the airfield. It's very good for the rotations, and, when the planes are coming in from the west onto RWY10, for the touchdowns, as you can see from the gallery where I got a mixture.
Unfortunately, the large layby at the RWY28 landing end requires a small stepladder to see over the new higher fence which has recently been installed there.
