Ive heard that FRA has one of the busiest upper airspaces, there are some photos on Airliners.net that look very dangerous:

Hi everybody.
It's fun because I came back from Tell-aviv last week and when we where flying above FRA(thanx klm671) it was crazy.
Not only that you have a lot of flight's around us but also you can see the aircraft dance down around the airport.
Regards
Pat

If you recognize it as A330-300 it went from DUS to Puerto Plata.liebensd wrote: An A330 of LTU crossing the Belgian Eastern boarder heading to the North-West at 11:40 Belgian time, does somebody know the destination of this aircraft, i can see it regular around this time.
If you recognize it as A330-200 it went from DUS to Fort Meyers.
Both passed the U.K. around 1150 LT.
My guess its an A330-300.

Skystef wrote:There are two kinds of contrails: the classic "engine exhaust contrail" and the "aerodynamic contrail". The latter is "a cloud" due to reduction of pressure. They are often seen at the ends of wings as quick dissipating wake vortices. But sometimes when the air is almost saturated they may form huge (lasting) contrails just above & behind the aircraft.
This pic shows what I mean, a climbing DAL B767-300 cruising W with combination of a huge aerodynamical contrail and a weaker exhaust contrail.
