Good evening!
Just returned from the airport after taking my brother for a flight. 2 requests in the darkness parked at Abelag:

1. US Air Force 737NG
2. Gulfstream V maybe  parked nose on to the road.

Many thanks to all!

What was the US Air Force 737 doing here?

Hey Emirates,

I was just at the airport as well.

Unfortunately I couldn't take any regs since I tried some night photography on landing planes.

However I need the following regs if possible . :)

DC10 DAS departed after 9pm
MD11F eva landed around 9pm
small GA plane landed just before the EVA

Many thanks

Chris

From what I could read off the 737 its tail, the reg was 10040

The Martinair 763 was PH-MCM (new colours)
Egyptair A330 SU-GCJ

There was also another nice visitor:
HB-JEA Embraer 135BJ Legacy G-V Executive AG

I saw them all passing by on approach for RWY 02. Imagine how hard I was 'studying'... :-s

So it's 01-0040 Boeing C-40B c/n 29971.

I understand that "time flies when you are having fun" but if it is October already then I have missed a summer's spotting. LOL

THe Gulfstream was probably CS- DKB GV which I saw on Monday 23/1 at around 08.30 parked nose on to road.

Here two pictures I made. I wasn't there for a long time and since there were not many planes landing on 02 I had only 3 chances to try to make pictures ;)

Anyway, I'm pleased about the result for the first time, but I still have a lot to learn. I've taken the pictures with ISO 800 and an exposure time of 20-25sec. I think it's better to take them with smaller ISO values in the future.

If anyone has more experience don't hesitate to share it :)

Nice ones though!

I bet the first one was an Airbus, looking at the lights at the wingtips?
