Martinair presenteert nieuwe look

Luchtvaartmaatschappij Martinair krijgt een andere 'look'. Het nieuwe kleurenschema wordt woensdag (17 november) op Schiphol onthuld. Martinair laat de kleuren in eerste instantie aanbrengen op de Boeing 767 met registratie PH-MCI. Dit toestel staat nu nog op een luchthaven in het buitenland en arriveert kort voor de presentatie in Amsterdam.

Het bedrijf meldt bovendien vandaag (12 november) aan Luchtvaartnieuws dat de vier verouderde vracht-Boeings van het type 747-200 vervangen worden door vijf Boeing 747-400s. Het gaat om vijf passagiersvliegtuigen die door een gespecialiseerd bedrijf worden omgebouwd tot zogenoemde 'Special Freighters'. Martinair hoopt dat de vijf 747-400s volgend jaar al in Amsterdam arriveren. Het is nog niet bekend van welke maatschappij Martinair de Boeings overneemt.

Ben benieuwd hoe de vernieuwde look er zal uitzien? Heeft iemand hier al iets van opgevangen?

Ik ben ook wel benieuwd, maar het is gewoon afwachten. Ik vrees dat het dezelfde wordt als op de A320. Omdat die al de nieuwe kleuren droegen, had ik lang geleden ergens vaag zien staan.

De A320's hebben volgens mij identiek dezelfde (oude) kleuren als de rest van de vloot...

Ik heb gelezen dat het gebaseerd zou zijn op wit blauw en rood.. ben benieuwd!

Well, if these are the new colours of Martinair they look nice. But in my opinion they should have put something more on the fuselage. Now the fuselage looks somewhat white to me.

It is great news that Martinair will get 5 747-400 Special Freighters ! Although I am sad the -200's will leave, I still am glad the -400's will arrive !

If those are the new Martinair colors, I am dissappointed. The fuselage is just too white ! Maybe they should have used the metalic grey like Northwest did ... Another option is to make the 'Martinair' titles large enough so that they cover the entire fuselage ...

Klopt, maar er was een kleine wijziging. Maar maakt verder niet uit...

Mochten deze kleuren hierboven de nieuwe worden, dan vind ik dat wel erg jammer. Ze zien er zo goedkoop uit en zoals Andries al zei zou een metalic tintje op de romp er niet gek uitzien. Trouwens, na de presentatie wordt ook nog het interieur vernieuwd.

Nu je het zegt Bjorn, dat lijkt inderdaad wel erg veel op elkaar.
Die rode strepen staan net ff wat anders maar voor de rest is het inderdaad van het zelfde.

Afwachten wat Woensdag ons gaat brengen.

Here is link of airliners.net with some photos taken by someone else, yesterday night. I'am shocked. I've hoped a better livery. There is to much white....but you must judge by yourself. If i had to choose between the livery here above or these new one, I choose the one here above.

Just saw the new livery. It looks really bad. Even worse than the one we thought it would become. Couldn't they have done something with a lot of fantasy. Like this it looks really cheap.

I totally agree! Well I haven't seen the plane by daylight or on a good picture. But it looks like all airlines are becomming low cost. Martinair is the second scheduled airliner in the Netherlands, so I think that they must have an image like a scheduled airline. The new interior is also nothing special, at least from what I've heard. The interior will get new seat covers, seat cushions, new carpet and new curtains. And I think they should definately do something with their logo. A new design would be great.

At least they used large letters for their name ... Imagin them using small letter, would be even worse !!!
