Le premier ministre ivoirien, Guillaume Soro, est sorti indemne d'une attaque contre son avion, vendredi 29 juin, alors qu'il venait d'arriver à l'aéroport de Bouaké, au centre de la Côte d'Ivoire.
Il had hier meteen een deja lu gevoel.
Dus herlas ik: vendredi 29 juin... l'avion transportant le premier ministre a essuyé des tirs de roquettes et de kalachnikovs, alors qu'il venait d'atterrir sur le tarmac de Bouaké.
Het jaartal is 2007.
Meteen na de landing nam Soro de wijk naar het hoofdkwartier van zijn New Forces-beweging. De hele middag waren schotenwisselingen te horen in het gebied tussen de luchthaven en de stad.

Soro was not hurt in the attack, but at least three people were killed in the attack in Bouake.

What 100-seater Fokker?
The 100-seater Fokker aircraft was turning at the end of the runway at the airport when at least three rocket-propelled grenades were fired at the plane.
About a dozen people were injured in the attack. Three people were killed in the attack.
The aircraft was carrying an unknown number of Soro's delegation and 20 journalists.
Since a rebel insurgency began in September 2002, Ivory Coast has been split in two, with the south under government control and the north and parts of the west in rebel hands.
Remember in Nov 2004, FN leader Guillaume Soro's HQ was attacked twice by Sukhoi 25 fighter-bombers of the regular army under president Gbagbo's control.
There are no clues to who is behind the today's attack.
What 100-seater Fokker can it be?
As far as I remember the Air Ivoire Fokkers left the country about 5 years ago?
