Could someone who has the demo version please make a video and make it available somewhere? And could you then as well give the specs of your computer (RAM, Processor, Graphical card,...) in that way, we can start assuming how fs X will perform on our computers...

Thx in advance and have a very nice weekend,
bAIR

I would like to, but I can't get it to work at all. I get a fatal error on startup. Reinstalled a couple of times, but doesn't help.

I found this on the Microsoft site:
The Flight Simulator X trial version includes two airports, three missions, and three different aircraft. All of the missions take place at St. Maarten in the Caribbean.

A quick run through:

Aircraft:

Bomardier CRJ
Dehavilland Beaver
Beech Baron

Scenery as stated is St. Maarten

The Graphics are awesome I have a Pentium 3.2 G dual Processor
with a ATI 1800 card. and I can't run it at max settings without getting stutter, which may be corrected in the final version.

Aircraft quality compared to FS9 is 10 times better.

Still playing with it.

Unfortunately that will have to wait a few weeks as I'm off on a jaunt to Australia.

does someone know if d10 also works on WXP?
Otherwise FSX can only be played at vista :(

What do you mean with d10? FS X works fine on Windows XP! However it is optimized to work under Vista, so that it most likely will run even better when Vista comes out. But no problem at all for XP. Since Vista comes out only next year, it would be unwise to launch a game that does not run on current computers, don't you think

Why would they release FS in Octobre if Vista is needed to run it, wich will only be released in March? I'm sure it'll run fine with XP, and probably also with W2000.

FS X does not need Direct X 10, only version 9. See the official requirements.

DX with a 32MB graphical card  ---> give's you the same effect as the demo.Current graphic cards are standard 128 or 256mb.Try to run DX10 with such a memory and you will not like it.And yes FSX will be playable at XP but you need very good hardware, very good.
