I broke my Flight Simulator CD...

So I have FS2004, and something terrible happened, my cd 4 (the one that you have to put in your pc, if you want to play flight sim....

it was on my bed, and i walked on my bed, and i heard a crack, and my flight sim cd was broken in 2 parts

What should i do ? Buy Flight sim again ?

Search on the net for a no-cd crack.
I know it exists.

There are a few cracks on the internet. I don't know any off hand, but they have modified .exe's in them that allow you to start flightsim without the cd. Off course, the're illegal...

Its legal to install this crack as long as its not used to make copys.

I still have my CD but i downloaded the crack because i hate opening my FS box to get the CD4

It also means that you can install things from cover CDs from PC Pilot etc without swaping disks all the time.

installed but does not work

it gives me a message saying a file is missing

try this one, I know it works, but be careful to follow install instructions carefully.

This is the No-CD patch or 'crack' for FS2004 version 9.1 (after FS9 Update patch). When applied, there is no need to insert your CD4 when attempting to play the software. Simply replace the FS9.exe file in the root folder with this one and play away!

You can't install FS2004 anymore now tough. You'll have to wait for FSX.

FSX should be out in the fall, but they may wait until the Christmas buying season.

In the meantime if you have downloaded the FS9 patch and installed it then the crack will work, if you haven't you may still be able to find it on the net somewhere just try google search, or FS9 forums at :

or are you just asking to see what we will say

because no simmer that does know about the next flight sim FSX or have not seen the vidieo and screenshots

even people who are not simmers knew about FSX ages ago and seen the screenshots which are found at http://www.avsim.com/pages/0106/FSX/fsx_thumbs.html this is a very old news which was announced ages ago.

thats so weird to see someone who soes not know FSX 8O

I hope the FS 2002 and 2004 files will be compatible. And looking at the screenshots, it looks like you need a super-computer for all that scenery and those effects.
