I made some reversed loops in the Extra 300S once. You start off diving instead of climbing in this loop.

Hello,

I have a question for some FS experts,
just like you can see my textures are now not so good anymore
( not good; http://virtual.planepictures.net/show.cgi?119245
Image

Good; http://virtual.planepictures.net/show.cgi?116457 )

Is there some problem whit the model or do I have to change my settings??

Greats Ivan

Ivan... do the problems show in every repaint of that model? Sometimes it helps going into spotview and zoom in really close and zoom out again.

Easiest way to do that is using the F1-view add-on from http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library ( freeware). With this add-on you can zoom using the scroll-wheel of your mouse.

Hi,

theyre all nice shots. I like the 1st and last ones.
how come the graphics are so smooth?
mine always seem to have jagged lines...

Don't know the reason, I also used to have jagged pictures with my previous videocard, but with my new one (6600GT) I never had it.

Anti Aliasing is on 'Appliciation controlled'.

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

On the jaggies: put AA ( anti-aliasing) on!

Step one: turn aa out in FS itself... it does a horrible job... you'll find it in settings - display

Step two: download the latest drivers for your video-card. Search the website of the card manufaturer ( MSI, ASUS, Creative Labs, etc.) or check the Nvidia or Ati sites.

Step three: install the drivers... off-course...

Step four: go into the graphics-card settings and turn the AA on ( as high as you can) and enable anisotropic filtering ( also as high as possible)

Check the result. If your framerate is to slow, lower the AA and filtering, until you get the result you want.

Have fun.

About the drivers: DO NOT update your Nvidia drivers to the 84.21, they suck (problems with views and IVAP reported)!

than your screen will be nothing but black, you need a video card to be able to put an image on your screen...

You're probably talking about those on-board graphics accelerators. They aren't good if you want any decent performance in fs. You really need an ATI or Nvidia-based graphics-card.

Cheers,

Omag
