:? strange that they have now plans to move to CDG... :?

Anyway, it's strange too they won't serve AMS, since their partnership with KLM (and NW??).

That article is an article from March 13, 2005. There is no need to start rumours about CDG as a stopover based on an old article.

I hope this is not true  . EBBR needs very badly more and more intercontinental routes. This airport is complete empty when you go there in the afternoon. What do we have: some routes to the US and Africa, that's all.

I hope that the day will come that we see with our own eyes some big carriers from the Middle-East, Asia, ........

Let's dream

However, Jet Airways isn't going to change this. Whether they fly via BRU, CDG or AMS the Jet Airways flight will be on its way to either EWR or BOM before afternoon (the flight from BOM arrives around 07:30 and will be gone after an hour and the flight from EWR will arrive around 9:30 and leaves the airport around 10:30).

Most humbly am not starting any rumor. I just came across the same and shared it with fellow members.

Also may i suggest that the route map of Jet also does not show any BRU signs  Visit the link at http://www.jetairways.com/MSIB21/PopUp/ ... spx?bhcp=1#

Correct, no Brussels for so far. But they update there site always at the last moment. Just the same for Londen Heathrow. A week ore more for the first flight we saw the new route. I think it's going te same way for Brussels.

Are they sure there is a direct link between Brussels and Doha  If yes, who operates it

Well, until now I never trusted HLN too much. This confirms my suspicions.

I've just checked it: as per today, there are no BRU-BOM flights in the GRS - airline reservations systems. Not on 23th June, not for August, not for September.

The story in Het Laatste Nieuws mentions (belga) = it was based on a press release by Fientje Moerman (honorable Flemish minister for Trade) to Belga (Belgium's official press service).

Same for OAG.

Incidentally, Belga is not an official Belgian press agency. It is a private company.

"We start with six weekly flights via Brussels to New York on June 23. We have not decided if we will go to JFK or Newark," but Jet will codeshare on the flights with Continental Airlines, which has a hub at Newark."

The plan of the Jet Airways to launch the Mumbai-Newark flight - the first by any private Indian airlines -- from June 23 seems to have received a major setback
