I like the 777, but now she looks like one of the most ugly planes I have ever seen... This plane looks 30 years old and it isn't even 10! Get a new livery AI! (although I must admit it's not that bad on a 747)

To be honest I don't really like the AI livery on the B777. The lilvery looks much better on older planes such as B747's or A310's but not on the B777.

Just my 2 cents ;)

At Mumbai the Aircraft still is in the hangar. All the inaguration et all was done inside the hangar itself.

Also the picture u see here is clicked in the United States aka Parked at JFK awaiting delivery to Air India. Carrying a decal with the ex-UA reg, N205UA.

The plane was to be inagurated in Delhi, but due to bad weather, it was diverted to Mumbai.

The aircraft has been officially inducted and the airline released a press statement, yesterday.

Air India is leasing 3 Airbus A310-300's from Singapore Airlines for a period of 3 years.

These buses will join the fleet of AirIndia by July 15th, 2005.

Air India will hence introduce direct flights to south-east destinations, Hong Kong & Kuala Lampur from Delhi and Mumbai.

Plans to convert 2 of its A310s into freighter aircraft are also doing rounds.
