Air Belgium will restart its route between Charleroi and Fort-de-France, via Pointe-a-Pitre on the return trip, next week, after having suspended its flights to Martinique. Flights begin 11 January 2022 with A340-300.

Re: Air Belgium in 2022
Pointe-à-Pitre restarted in December.
Also, as admin of a certain Facebook group, Jim Liu told AB had switched the route to A339, I have myself looked at it : and indeed.
Later on, I make another post about the schedule conflict about the use of both A339 on the 3 routes. They seem to have corrected it as FDF/PTP should stay for the Summer season with Airbus A340-300 instead.

And CRL-FDF/PTP turned again for the A339. Which should mean that the Airbus A340-300 fleet is not going to fly as scheduled service.TLspotting wrote: ↑05 Jan 2022, 17:29Pointe-à-Pitre restarted in December.

It would seem logical to use the the A340, which, afaik is more costly to operate, preferably on cargo routes if these are more profitable than pax routes.TLspotting wrote: ↑19 Jan 2022, 17:41And CRL-FDF/PTP turned again for the A339. I did read it before and I was well aware of the arrival. My question was if someone knows more of the arrival date of the planes.Atlantis wrote: ↑21 Jan 2022, 14:07Read my post once again of 10th December last yearTLspotting wrote: ↑21 Jan 2022, 10:35From what I know, 2 are expected from April, it might have evolved..

Based on the destination, I suspect a military charter?B737229 wrote: ↑14 Feb 2022, 11:00 ABB331P from Tarbes to Siauliai https://fr24.com/ABB331P/2ad09196

OO-ABA has been deregistered from from the Belgian Aircraft register since 16/2/2022.
Re: Air Belgium in 2022
No more A340 on Air Belgium website fleet page, only the cabin plan of OO-ABB for the FDF/PTP summer flights

It has been announced on other media. Former Ryanair aircraft owned by Constitution Aircraft Leasing and probably undergoing a P2F conversion.Jonnieknoxville wrote: ↑21 Feb 2022, 20:59 https://www.airfleets.net/flottecie/Air ... b737ng.htm
