Lufthansa plans to equip its subsidiary Cityline with A321 full freighters, but with Lufthansa Cargo branding. Why make it simple when it can be complicated!

In other news, Lufthansa will be bringing eight B747-400s back into service for the next few years. Starting in 2023, they will be successively replaced by the B777s once they are delivered.

"the ...fleet" or a subfleet? The A359 was targeted for MUC, the following 10 brand new deliveries with F will go to MUC, it is just now that there is a subfleet flying from FRA and maybe the 4 new leases should be based there so that we can say that there will be a subfleet in FRA as well?

Lufthansa expects to be leasing more aircraft in the future to take advantage of low lease rates. The carrier is also expecting its first of five B787-9s by the end of 2021 and plans to phase out its A340-300s around 2025. Additional A350-900s are needed when travelling restrictions to the US and Asia fall.
