"TUI fly" title is a bit too short and as TUI UK uses "TUI Airways" name, it would be better to use a name like "TUI Group Airlines" before the merge, don't you think so ? ;)

Anyway, OO-JAA has got its TUI stickers removed, as it currently wears "Jetairfly" titles. Anybody knows why ?

The Belgian federal public service Mobility has issued its first airworthiness certificate for a TUIfly Belgium Boeing 737 MAX 8 (OO-MAX), the spokesman for the public service confirms. A second 737 MAX from TUI fly would also receive the certificate very soon.

This will enable TUIfly to relaunch 737 MAX flights as early as tomorrow: flight TB1011 to Alicante and Malaga

I'm curious about the load factor, given the ban on the non-essential travels...
Hopefully this ban is lifted soon... can't wait to board this beautiful plane...

Good evening,

According to fr24 and the Brussels airport site, OO-TMY would be the 2nd B737MAX of tui to be certified to fly in Europe. It will do the same flights as OO-MAX so Brussels - Malaga - Alicante - Brussels ! For the moment no other flight is planned from this one.

Flight number : TB1011

It seems there are some problems with TUI’s B737MAX OO-TMY. It landed in ALC as TB1012 (JAF4LA) at 1407 and hasn’t left since. A B737-800 OO-TUV left BRU for ALC at 1915 as JAF111F, presumably as a rescue mission. OO-TUV is expected back in BRU around midnight.

Good evening,

For the moment it is only a guess but the B737MAX of tui (OO-TMY) which left this morning for Malaga and then for Alicante is still in Alicante. On the site of Brussels airport it is expected with 2 hours late but this time with a normal 737 (OO-TUV). OO-TUV has just left Brussels https://fr24.com/JAF111F/26e1612c and is on its way for an unscheduled flight to Alicante ! Probably to pick up the passengers who were to return with OO-TMY .. If my opinion is correct it's a bad start for the 737MAX. Anyone have more info ?

OO-TMY returned to BRU shortly after its sister ship as JAF112F.

If he was able to leave soon after his little brother, why have to charter another plane if he can fly ? Is it a matter of security or something else ?
