Ryanair will relaunch on 01 November 2021 a service between Rome and Fez with B737-800, six years after having abandoned the route.

Ryanair will stop flying from Skavsta airport (which they called Stockholm, although it is 100 km from the city) in October 2021, but could return in April 2022.

An interesting graph on how Ryanair reregistered several aircraft in 2018-2020 (to maxiùise profits, for sure!):

But why two separate companies in Malta? Oh, one has A320s, the other 738s. But I'm not sure that's the reason.

Ryanair passengers with Kiwi.com boarding passes will be refused boarding
https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/ryan ... -boarding/
On 18th August, Ryanair has issued a warning to customers regarding fake Boarding Passes issued by Kiwi.com for Ryanair flights. Under EU regulation 2015/1998, it is mandatory that passengers complete the Ryanair check-in process directly to ensure passengers are informed of all safety and regulatory protocols required when travelling. Kiwi.com circumvent these essential aviation regulations by issuing their own boarding cards which are not valid on Ryanair flights.

From today any Ryanair passenger with a Boarding Pass issued by Kiwi.com will regrettably be refused boarding as they have not complied with Ryanair’s safety and security protocols during check-in. Customers who wish to retrieve an official Boarding Pass can do so by accessing their booking via Ryanair.com or on the Ryanair app.

Ryanair urges customers to only book direct on the Ryanair website or app and avoid booking via third party agents, such as Kiwi.com, who do not have the authorisation to sell Ryanair flights or to issue Boarding Passes. Earlier this year, Ryanair introduced the “Verified Seal” to further protect customers against these online travel agents who may be overcharging customers, providing incorrect customer details, and preventing Ryanair from dealing directly with passengers by providing fake email addresses. Ryanair has secured a court order in Czechia requiring Kiwi to stop replacing customer email addresses with fake email addresses, and preventing Ryanair from communicating directly with its passengers, however, Kiwi is not yet complying with that order. The Verified Seal is a guarantee for customers that they are booking directly on the Ryanair website and our branded tick which is visible on Ryanair.com and Ryanair app ONLY.

Ryanair’s Director of Marketing, Dara Brady, said: “We became aware of these fake boarding passes when a small number of passengers who booked their flights through Kiwi.com arrived at the boarding gate without official Ryanair Boarding Passes last week. It is an obligation under EU regulations that an airline informs passengers directly of all safety and security policies regarding their flight, Kiwi.com are circumventing this by checking passengers in and replacing the Ryanair Boarding Pass with a fake Boarding Pass issued by Kiwi.com. Any passenger presenting a Kiwi.com Boarding Pass will be refused boarding on Ryanair flights. If you made a booking through Kiwi.com we urge you to contact Kiwi.com to obtain the necessary Ryanair booking reference and email address so that you can complete check-in in line with our safety and security protocol. Ryanair check-in opens 24 hrs pre-departure for all passengers and 60 days pre-departure for passengers who have purchased a reserved seat.
Ryanair states that EU-Rule 2015/1998 allows them to refuse boarding passes, issued by Kiwi.com. That is nonsense. First of all, Kiwi.com doens’t issue boarding passes. They only print and/or mail boarding passes. It is Ryanair that issues the boarding passes.

Then: EU-Rule 2015/1998 deals with safety & security at airports. 2015/1998 states that a person that enters a restricted area, must be in possession of a valid boarding pass or similar document. Nowwhere in 2015/1998, it is mentionned that only boarding passes printed or mailed direct by an airline are valid. Clients from Kiwi.com, in possession of a boarding pass with all correct and relevant details, must be accepted.

We all know the reason why Ryanair is so angry on scraper firms (I don’t even call them OTA’s): because those firms get the affiliate commission on hotel bookings and car rentals – commission that Ryanair hopes to get. Some of those scraper firms even don't take any profit on Ryanair bookings, hoping they will earn commission on hotels and car rentals afterwards.

So Ryanair must find another way to block Kiwi.com (Czechia) from selling Ryanair tickets. Example: blocking their IP-address, blocking their credit cards, proceed much firmer with the legal Czechian court case they won, give Kiwi-clients at airports a warning, …

Ryanair has lost the (final) court case in Czechia against Kiwi.com

The Czech Republic’s Constitutional Court has ruled in favor of Czech ticket seller Kiwi.com against Ryanair in a dispute over Kiwi.com’s practices for handling passenger data... Ryanair took Kiwi.com to court over its handling of passengers’ personal data, which Ryanair claimed prevented it from contacting passengers and meeting its financial obligations. The Irish carrier wanted Kiwi.com to be compelled to share more information about passengers booking through the ticket portal.
...
But the Constitutional Court has now overturned an earlier ruling by the Regional Court in Brno which had instructed Kiwi.com to adjust information according to Ryanair’s terms and conditions, and to share customers’ email and residence addresses as well as their payment details. The Constitutional Court ruled that the earlier judgement ran contrary to freedom to conduct business and the right to judicial protection. “The decision of the general court was based on a misinterpretation of the assessed communications, which were not evaluated in context,” said Constitutional Court judge Kateřina Šimáčková.

Ryanair announced a €200 million investment in Cork Airport and a full recovery of its pre-pandemic passenger capacity with the reopening of its two aircraft base. This investment will bring 20 routes to Cork, including the introduction of new services to Birmingham and Edinburgh.

Ryanair expects a large deal with Boeing on an order for the B737 MAX 10 “will come our way eventually” as cancellations put pressure on the planemaker, but the airline is in no hurry.
