Seen today at TLS, the rwandair a339, fully white with AB logo on the engines :) ( :!: not my picture) Weird thing, it hasn't got a mask around the cockpit like all the other neos :?:

That's likely because the mask is only added when the whole aircraft is being painted. As the aircraft seems to be cully assembled, I guess the paint job will start soon.

Hello,

The plane left post 20 after having been sanded to remove the RwandAir colors. He will be leaving for the weekend for his painting and will be released on June 18 or no later than June 21. It will indeed be in full color from Air Belgium. This one in the photo will be the second to be painted. The second destined for Air Belgium should come out of painting before him.

Samuel,

But anyway, good news I would say. They are slowly growing. New A330Neo is a great add and hopefully they will operate from the 2 airports for their long haul operations

Only registered in the dreams of Internet. Not registered in Belgium at the Ministry of Transportation (or BCAA).

According to their reservation system, Air Belgium will launch flights between Brussels and Mauritius from 15 October 2021 with A330neo. This is the first (although not official) confirmation on their part that they will be using A330neo aircraft.

In other news, European Commission has found a €4.8 million Belgian aid measure to support Air Belgium to be in line with EU State aid rules.

Don't worry, Aviation24.be will bring an English version to that news item.

Lalibre mentions the fleet should grow to 6 cargo and 4 pax aircrafts.
Flights from Liege to China are planned.
Some cargo could fly from BRU also.
2 destinations in america and 2 in africa (one is south africa) are planned for 2022

As a matter of fact, they do already cargo flights to and from BRU to New York and Chicago. Not on a regular basis but they do

Yes and that makes some BRU-LGG ferry flights.
We can assume they know they have very little chance to remain unnoticed by a bored "politician"

They can also switch destination during rotation, for example, BRU - New York - LGG.

The financial result for BY-2020 has been published, and Covid-19 has hurt them, just like all other airlines: 19M loss on 34M turnover (BY-2019 was 5M profit on 64M turnover).

Commissioner Mazars (bedrijfsrevisor/reviseur d'entreprises) mentions that another capital raise (augmentation du capital/kapitaalverhoging) is forthcoming. Own assets (capitaux propres/eigen vermogen) indeed has decreased from 6M (+) to minus 6,8M.
