What exactly is your point here? I assume you compare against the share price of 6 month ago, not a day-on-day movement as you are wrongly suggesting.
All airline shares have dropped significantly since their peak in spring.

I quickly looked it up for you. Until the end of last week, LH shares did not perform that much worse compared to other European groups. It underperformed this week, but still, not that much worse:

peak in spring until 17/09
Lufthansa -37%
Air France - KLM -32%
IAG -35%
Easyjet -34%
Ryanair -5%

peak in spring until 22/09
Lufthansa -33%
Air France - KLM -26%
IAG -21%
Easyjet -29%
Ryanair -4%

So, what was your point again?

It went down yesterday by more than 30% something is happening but I didn't understand his point either!

AF KLM in instance is going up and lost only 12% compared to last year the LH share where never so low.

A rights issue happened yesterday, every share had one right detached, every right plus 3,85€ buys you a new share. More shares means each share is worth less money.

I understand but not completely off topic Brussels Airlines is part of Lufthansa!

Overview of the Capital Increase
The Company expects gross proceeds of EUR 2,140 million from the capital increase. The subscription price of EUR 3.58 per New Share corresponds to a discount of 39.3% to the TERP (theoretical ex-rights price).

The subscription ratio is 1:1. Accordingly, for each existing share of the Company, one new share may be subscribed at the subscription price. The new shares are to be offered to shareholders during the subscription period, which is expected to commence on September 22, 2021, and end on October 5, 2021. The rights trading is expected to commence on September 22, 2021, and end on September 30, 2021. Admission of the New Shares to trading on the regulated market segment (regulierter Markt) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse) with simultaneous admission to the sub-segment thereof with additional post-admission obligations (Prime Standard) is expected on October 7, 2021, with trading to commence on October 11, 2021.

After the offering, the Company will have 1,195,485,644 shares outstanding (currently: 597,742,822). The New Shares will carry the same voting and economic rights as the ordinary shares of the Company currently in circulation.

The Capital Increase is fully underwritten by BofA Securities, Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft, Goldman Sachs Europe SE and JP Morgan AG which are acting as Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners and Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, BNP Paribas SA, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank SA, DZ Bank AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, SMBC Nikko Capital Markets Europe GmbH, Société Générale SA and UniCredit Bank AG acting as additional Joint Bookrunners.

Does someone here know if and when SN will be resuming its direct flights to Saint-Petersburg? I haven't been able to obtain that information on the SN sites.
Apparently last one for the summer season was on Sept 11 (or 4?).

Seems OO-SFG got AOG at FIH last night.
According to Flightstats.com :
SN359 FIH-BRU 26SEP21.png
And accordingly at 23:56Z SN501 to JFK to be run today 27SEP by same Golf got cancelled.
Reason unknown to me.

The Belgian government has sent 195,500 COVID-19 vaccines to Rwanda. The vaccines were delivered to Kigali on the night of October 4, 2021 by Brussels Airlines. They are of the AstraZeneca type.

Starts to be a habit. Less direct flights for SN. All via Germany. But the same also for LOT Polisch Airlines. Also there much less direct flights. From there it goes all via Germany or Austria

Was corona the final leap to offer less direct flifgts? Travelling will not be pleasant anymore

The latest press release of SN regarding S22 offer is much blablabla about the usual seasonal market destinations (ex-TC Belgium) but it indicates that YUL route has been dumped… :| :?: :roll:

On the other hand, they apparently fly (almost?) daily to Yerevan. Is that route really profitable?

I just checked flights to WAW and KRK and I see that SN is flying there from 27th of March onwards...
Are they gonna cancel those flights? Since they didn't put them in their summer schedule that they released a few days ago?

Good question. I would be reluctant to book those flights. They postponed the relaunch of these destinations several times in the recent past, thus being compelled to refund the tickets.

Air Canada is committed to the route and beefing up YUL as a North American hub, adding more and better-timed connections to the USA. The airport has a bypass to avoid Canadian officialdom and US pre-clearance is far more efficient than US CIS states-side (no need to claim luggage for customs). When business travel picks up, I expect the route to do very well, and Brussels Airlines will benefit as they are in the same A++ transatlantic alliance.

The route may be challenged when US pre-clearance opens up in BRU. How attractive YUL remains as an option will depend in a large part on how efficient the process is. If passengers have to show up at BRU 3 hours early to clear immigration and then still suffer through a 2, 3-hour layover stateside, Air Canada will still come out ahead, but if US pre-clearance is efficient and United re-schedules their TATL flights to cut layovers to one hour, YUL will lose a lot of its attractiveness for connecting passengers.

The last flight of Brussels Airlines to Luanda was diverted just prior to land in Luanda last Sunday because the airspace was closed without further notice due to the arrival of the Turkish president Erdogan.
So all the passengers to Luanda had to fly back to Brussels to fly the next day to Luanda again!!!!
I hope this will not stay like that this is unacceptable.
