Virgin Atlantic is keen to partner with Flybe should the regional airline successfully relaunch in 2021. Virgin is looking for a feeder airline to feed into its long-haul operations.

Flybe relaunch could be in the balance, after the resignation of a Thyme Opco director, Lucien Farrell, who is also a hedge fund manager of Cyrus Capital (US). He was driving the revival of the collapsed business.

Flybe could take to the skies again in summer 2021 after administrators completed the sale of its business and assets to a new business, previously known as Thyme Opco.
