Aurora, the Russian Far Eastern airline, should be created by September 2021, says the government. The carrier will operate with reliance on state subsidies.

Red Air has secured its Dominican Republic AOC ahead of the start of its operations in the country.

AlisCargo Airlines (Italy) plans to launch operations from Milan Malpensa with two converted B777-200ER, including MSN 30871. The initial capital is €6.7 million, while chairman is Fulvio Gismondi, CEO is Francesco Rebaudo, and CCO is Ulrich Ogiermann. The first routes will connect Italy with Asia-Pacific and North America.

Airhub took delivery of one A340-300, MSN 668, the first A340 of four to be added to its Maltese AOC fleet. The aircraft will begin flying in July 2021, and may be utilised for cargo operations. Airhub has the capacity for up to 10 additional mixed type aircraft in the fleet by end of 2021.

Itapemirim Transportes Aereos launched operations, with an inaugural flight between Sao Paulo Guarulhos and Brasília on 29 June 2021 with A320.

Sky Alps plans flights to Hamburg, Nuremberg, London, Rotterdam, and Copenhagen. and hopes to join the Star Alliance. The carrier is also keen on expanding the fleet with more DHC8s.

Emerald Airlines is finalising steps to launch services by October 2021 as the final contracts are expected to be signed soon. An interim operator on PSO routes will be secured for the interim. Emerald should have 14 aircraft in service and about 400 staff by the end of 2022.

LeOne (also from Italy) now plans to launch operations in mid-July 2021, flying one BE1900D from Pescara to Lamezia, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Figari, Pantelleria and Split.

Not new airline but I don’t know where else to post this. But GQ - SkyExpress of Greece just announced in their social media the addition of 6 atr 72-600 aircraft. One has already flown in to Athens in its new colours - which looks great.

Air Arabia and Armenian National Interests Fund plan to launch a new joint-venture budget airline with Yerevan as its base.

Regional Linhas Aereas is a new airline established by VoePass (Brazil), who started the certification process of the new entrant.

Air Premia has obtained government approval for its operations and received its AOC. The carrier still needs to report its routes to the South Korea aviation authority before it begins operations.

Greater Bay Airlines of Hong Kong will make its inaugural flight on 01 October 2021 — a charter to Beijing, following the issuance of its operating license and AOC.
