I understand you send your loved ones on an aircraft, the procedure is to send them by bus, to reduce the risk of contamination. Risking to contaminate other passengers and crew members, it's selfish.

In another article, a mother was proud that she rented an appartment to put her kid in quarantaine so she could continue working. That's shelfish too ....

Yes, but now you had thé choice to be vaccinated ;)
4th WAVE only for anti-vaxxers... They deserve it !

Okay this is just sarcasm ...

You said it right.. it's impossible... But I don't like tests also for short trips.. you can test everyone every hour in thé end..

Just some self thinking helps... Masks, distance,gels,...

And give yourself a vaccination !!!!!

I'm fully vaccinated and ready for my third shot of they ask me !
Okay second,..got Johnson myself ...

Hey CXB

It's not 80% it's 64% first shot and 34% full vaccinated.

About the pandemic if I understand well we need to be vaccinated before other variant will develop that the point but I'm not a specialist .

In all 7 recent flights that I took (to or from Belgium) since the end of May, I have been checked for vaccination or for a PCR test. I would like to know which airline allowed those young people on board without checking. In my view, it earns a red card.

Hi,

From my flights ... PLF was checked on every flight ( Italy,Greece, Germany,Austria,Portugal )

No Covid test required for return to Belgium.. with TP, OS...

Belgian don't require this so why check anyway, on the PLF there is no note for a test when you are a belgian resident !

People can only follow rules when they exist officially.

For belgians residents there is NO rule ,NO Need , no official legislation to have a negative test for entering belgium..

So no RED card for those People as they only followed thé rules.
Give a red card to this government in place instead of judging people who follow surrealism rules ;)

I wouldn''t have done it, but not all people are like me obviously..

So what could they get, an article in a newspaper and a topic on FB that's all...
If not... Then our government has changed thé rules again while driving ... Again...

I would not blame the airline since they are only executing the existing rules and regulations. If you fly on board a directflight to Belgium and you have Belgian citizenship or your main residence, you can fly without a PCR/ANTIGEN/... test. I believe we are one of the few (or the only) countries in the EU to have this rule. The airline could check, yes. But shouldn't Saniport do so? What if you decide to use a paper PLF form instead of an electronic one? Will both be treated in the same way? I don't think so. If you always proclaim something is impossible (ex. to perform the health checks), than it becomes reality. If you decide to organize yourself an do it, it can also become reality.
Better use of the available data in de data collecting systems could also help to automate the checks, but these kind of sollutions are stuck in idialogical semantics. Conclusion: this COVID situation will take long(er) to be completly under control.

One cannot blame airlines or airports when they follow health rules. One has to blame those who decide on health rules: the Belgian government and the Belgian Corona Commissioner. They refused to take up their responsability by saying "it's the duty of all citizens to behave responsible". As if we don't need speed traps in traffic.

Airlines may impose more severe rules then the official ones. But if they do so, they have to get an OK from people who have bought a ticket. Otherwise, it's unilateral cancellation.

We can only hope now that the regional Contact Tracing Centers (aka 'the Netflix guys') do their job.
