I wonder what Covid-19 will change in aviation on the longer term. Less hub to hub and hub to spoke flying and more point to point? The latter might prove easier to cope with future (major) disruptions.

Covid-19 is considered the biggest global crisis since WW2 and might be a turning point like we've had many before... Many industries will be changed and affected.

That will be to bring people back, entry in Thailand is almost impossible for tourists at the moment, you need a medical certificate which states you are virus free and a private health insurance which covers COVID up to 100.000$.

Seeing as Italy has more people dead from COVID-19 then even China, this is a logical decision. Strange that you don't mention the travel ban on people who had been in Iran and China. This ban came 2 weeks before the travel ban on anyone who had been in Europe. Suffering from anti-Trump-virus, are you ? There's no cure for that, it seems.

It seems that the corona virus is no reason for the usual Trump haters to stop their fake news about Trump. For those who want to know what is really going on:

It is standard practice for all countries to allow entry for their own citizens, stranded abroad. There are a lot of Chinese expats living in the U.S., hence increased demand for flights from China to the U.S.

The USA has a travel ban for citizens from Europe, China and Iran. Quote: "...In furtherance of Presidential Proclamations 9984, 9992, 9993, and 9994, which bans the entry of non-U.S. citizens who are from or recently been in China, Iran, or certain European countries, the Department of Homeland Security issued a Notice of Arrival Restrictions requiring American citizens, legal permanent residents, and their immediate families who are returning home to the U.S. to travel through one of 13 airports upon arrival to the U.S., submit to an enhanced entry screening and self-quarantine for 14 days once they reach their final destination..."

Actually, the U.S. applies more severe restrictions for arrivals from China then Belgium does for Belgians returning from Italy or Spain. Quote: "...Upon arrival, travelers will proceed to standard customs processing. They will then continue to an enhanced entry screening where the passenger will be asked about their medical history, current condition, and asked for contact information for local health authorities. Additionally, some passengers will have their temperature taken. After the enhanced entry screening is complete, passengers will be given written guidance about COVID-19 and be allowed to proceed to their final destination. Once home, individuals must immediately self-quarantine in their home and monitor their health in accordance with CDC best practices. An evacuation flight in quarantine conditions, the Belgian Air Force 15 Wing Air Transport is up for the task! Yesterday tourists that were stuck in Tenerife were flown back home by the 21Sqn Airbus A321. The Brussels Military airport personnel created a contained triage zone.
