Iran has invited the USA and Canada to take part in the investigation. Both the NTSB and the TSB have confirmed this. CNN reports that Boeing has also been invited.

Iran strongly denies that the aircraft was hit by a missile. Scientific proof should come from the deciphering of the black boxes. The Cockpit Voice Recorder should give a definitive answer to that question.

Anyway, now that the US (actually the NTSB) has been officially invited to participate in the investigation, we might expect serious scientifically-based conclusions.

(Old news) Trump clearly mentioned that someone from a dangerous neighbourhood (compared to the bronx i suppose) probably made a mistake. Meaning the rocket, if confirmed, is not from "Iran" but from a fool.

Like everything trump says, we can assume this is only said to allow the stock market to go higher, and indeed it did.
This scenario is good for south central LA but im not buying it.

If hit by a missile, the CVR will probably not have recorded more than the letter B from Booooom.

Wrong quote - as usual, when it's about Trump. This is what Trump really said: "...Somebody could have made a mistake on the other side, could have made a mistake. It was flying in not our system, has nothing to do with us, it was flying in a pretty rough neighborhood and somebody could have made a mistake. Some people say it was mechanical. I personally don’t think that’s even a question personally. So we’ll see what happens. Just some very terrible — something very terrible happened, very devastating...”

Without trump, the jet most probably wouldn’t have been shot down in the first place. He owns those families an apology at the very least.

Without Trump, other families would be in mourne now. Probably from Iraqi and relatives from Nato allies, based in Iraq. Fact is that Soleimani was a terrorist leader.

Canada mournes 63 victims at the PS-752 crash. And a further 75 passengers were transit passengers from Teheran via Kiev to Canada. Already in 2012, Canada added mr Soleimani's organization to their list of terrorist groups. Quote from "Public Safety Canada", an official website from the Government of Canada, posted on 17/12/2012 and updated on 21/11/2018: Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Qods Force. Also known as Pasdaran-e Enghelab-e Islami (Pasdaran), Sepah-e Qods, Qods/Quds, al Quds, al Quds Force, Qods/Quds Force, Qods Corps, Jerusalem Corps, Jerusalem Force and Qods Force. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Qods Force is the clandestine branch of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) responsible for extraterritorial operations, and for exporting the Iranian Revolution through activities such as facilitating terrorist operations. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Qods Force provides arms, funding and paramilitary training to extremist groups, including the Taliban, Lebanese Hizballah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command (PFLP-GC).

If you believe breibart maybe yes. So what are you saying? That this downed flight is acceptable collateral damage?

No idea what the boxes would record in this case, but shrapnel holes in the fuselage and traces of explosives will be found for sure.

After bulldozers were seen at the crash site, new footage shows it has been cleared of debris, causing concern about the probe's integrity. Cover-up?

Iran finally admits that it has shot down the plane! The country announced that it would come with a explanation for the crash today. The Iranian state TV announced the news that it had been shot down, citing a military statement. But still Iran still blames Donald Trump for propting an unintentional missile strike.

The plane that was downed by Iran’s military was hit by two missiles fired 30 seconds apart, according to new video verified by The New York Times.

The missiles were launched from an Iranian military site around eight miles from the plane.

The new video fills a gap about why the plane’s transponder stopped working, seconds before it was hit by a second missile.

Canada investigators to examine Iran crash wreckage later on Wednesday.

Crash investigators from Canada have visited the site of an Iranian plane disaster in which 57 Canadians died and will examine the wreckage later on Wednesday, Transport Minister Marc Garneau said.

The investigators have not yet been granted access to the flight and cockpit recorders, Garneau told a news conference.
