Is OO-ABA AOG at ORD Chicago?
Aircraft flew WAW-ORD LOT LO-3 yesterday, but return LOT LO-4 is cancelled.

Yes it is AOG, as ABD was expected to get home today.

There are strong rumors that AB will fly from CRL to MRU twice a week from October.

That's Mauritius for those who don't know every IATA-code by heart

They are financially stable now, all options are open, only the right choice needs to be made...my 2 bucks on MIA with TUI...

MIA is again in the schedule for this year with TUI from BRU. 2 would be too much on this not easy route.
If I'm not mistaken, KLM suspended also the MIA route. I can be wrong with this but I remember that from NL they will suspend the route.

The right choice of AB is to offer completely new destinations. As we can see their own 2 new destinations are doing well. Leisure to Caribbean is already offered well, that would be not wise.
Their right choice is to see other exotic destinations where Belgians are going. Don't forget that in MRU are also living quite some Belgians. Even ex-Sabena couple has their own luxury hotel there.

Great opportunity for them, La Réunion is great as well, however flight prices between both islands are really expensive.

With the dismiss of a few airlines there and also close to the border is not a bad idea

You have to be sure also that you have enough planes. Don't forget they have only 2 own routes and a lot of medium long term subcontracts.
The more you will fly on your own you have to make also some choices.
And the money of course. Opening a new route cost really a lot of money. The first year you don't earn anything on it. Their own capital is also rather low, so step by step in their case I would say

Financially stable? I wouldn't use that description for a company that amends a 687.000€ short term debt into shares just before the FY ends, and also needs a cash injection of 1.250.000 €. Hence I wait for their results FY2019 before calling them financially stable.

LOT ACMI contract extended until end October, told Airlineroute (and verified with the booking system).
WAW - EWR (- RZE - EWR) - WAW; WAW - JFK - WAW and WAW - YYZ - WAW routes.

Passenger,
After 2 years of operations, they are still around and utilize their A/C's at max capacity.
They have new projects in the tube and their ACMI business is working very well.
By the way, I knew you would have come with your numbers and profit sheet, etc....you are so predictable in your negative coverage.
The extra money needed will allow them to buy or secure a spare engine or two, and cover the 2 upcoming C check.
They are more solid than you think, (or than you hope...).

The company has been established on 17/02/2016. So next month is their 4th birthday. Their AOC is 2 years old indeed.
737MAX wrote: 11 Jan 2020, 09:37 And "Passenger" is luckily not their CEO
If more people would prevail facts and figures above sentiments, we wouldn't have to read wishfull thinking stuff like "they are financially stable now".

Repeat: fact: reported loss FY2018 was €18,3M (overgedragen verlies / perte à effecter). Fact: on 20/12/2019, they needed another €1,25M cash injection. Maybe incoming payments (LOT, BA, Surinam Airways, Safrans du Monde, ...) were delayed/overdue? But then, direct passenger bookings for holiday flights are paid well in advance.

I think your comments are ethnically driven not rationally driven...
In other words, you are the same kind of people I met for 13 years in BRU....
