Nevertheless, it is very good to have members like Passenger on board. He is from the industry already many years. He has a huge knowledge about many issues in travel industry and in aviation, especially in legal.

In case of, we always can use his advice sooner or later.

You would be surprised how false facts and how false figures can be.
We live in the most Greedy Period in human history.

Apart from this I wish Air Belgium all the best.

Negative. 5000 € is 5000 € and 273K is 273K. If you perhaps meant the way facts and figures are presented by certain media, then I totally share your scepticism. Finding the facts is one thing, knowing how to interpret them is quite another.

Reading a balance sheet is not an easy matter, for just one example, the more so that this is one if many documents defined by law, and the law varies from country to country. Having worked for accountants, I have some basic notions of the balance sheet as it is in Belgium, but I won't even begin reading one from any other country, for lack of interpretation skills.

As for "the most greedy period in human history": again I lack the qualification to compare, but it would seem to me some emperors of Rome were quite quite greedy too. And, err, does it really matter? The one worrying factor is, in my observation, the current obsession with short term profits and the total disregard of long-term stability. After so many years, we can still thank Mrs. Thatcher for that.

Apologies for straying off-topic: I too hope all the best for all aviators and aviation enterprises.

Strange: ABB has two flights for LOT Chicago-Warsaw today: LO4 (OO-ABE) and LO4A (OO-ABA).

Yes the LO4A is probably for stranded passengers at ORD on Monday evening, supposed to be in Poland yesterday.

Air Belgium should announce in a few weeks that the Antilles route is going to become 2 distinct routes during winter 2020-2021, and is going to open booking for that period.

If Flightradar24.com and Planefinder.net have correct info, OO-ABA is AOG at Chicago ORD since Saturday evening.

That would make 3 times AOG (+24 hours) for OO-ABA in two weeks: 8th January, 13th January and 18th January. Each time for LOT LO-04 Chicago-Warsaw. Unless these flights were/are XXX = not scheduled of course.

A little hard-on ?
Nope. Just factual and short. And very soft, compared to the bullshit that is written here whenever Brussels Airlines has an AOG.

I thought last week that ABA has been expected at Charleroi, but ABE went there.

Many delays and cancelations on this aircraft, should it not go to CRL for a few checks? End January is not that far anyway.

OO-ABE has just left New York after two days AOG at JFK, causing the cancellation of LO-27 on Wednesday.

Normally an A340 should be back soon at Charleroi.

Strange that Air Belgium feels the need to have flight numbers with 4 digits. Methinks that KF1 to KF4 would suffice.

There's a difference between a flight number and a callsign.
Attribution of flight numbers is quite easy, it's an internal process only, provided you don't need matching callsigns (eg. KF5965 could be "Air Belgium 13K" for ATC purposes.).
If you want them to match, it is quite a convoluted process.
Another system regularly employed is a "division" within the flight number.
I have no knowledge of the operations side at Air Belgium, but KF59XX could very well be an internal code for scheduled pax flights they operate themselves with a certain destination, or something along those lines.
