BTW, how was the flight itself? (flying in this bird tomorrow/8th Feb to PUJ): seat 'comfort', catering, service (I guess it is Wamos crew and not TUI crew), entertainement, ... ?
I was at the window on the rear of the plane with 2-3-2 seat confuguration. Good seat. No individuel entertainement. Wamos Wifi on board for google play on your tablet or smartphone . Catering good as normal. Wamos and a few Tui crew on board.

Any real news about this https://www.rtl.be/info/vous/temoignage ... 94164.aspx ?
TUI OO-LOE blocked in Montego Bay since Tuesday 4th Feb.
In Het Laatste Nieuws, TUI told that there was a technical problem (brakes issue), and that the long delay is caused because it's quite difficult to get spare parts to Montego Bay.

TUI said that a new take off was planned for 14h local time on Thursday. But at this verry moment it's 17h local time, and no departure yet.

OO-LOE on her way back home from Mo'Bay this morning.
They must be enjoying the ride at FL430, though heading for different weather at destination.

TUI fly Belgium organises a contest named "Design the sky", a design to be stickered on AirExplore 737-8 during the Summer season 2020.

[FR] https://www.tui.be/fr/designthesky

And a similar contest takes the skies at TUI fly Nederland...

TUI fly Belgium to lease a B737-800 from AirExplore of Slovakia for the summer 2020 season.

Is that the one which will get the livery designed through a public competition?

Maybe. OM-HEX arrived at Brussels in the evening.

2 other aircraft being leased which arrived earlier today : YL-LCL and ES-SAS (as related by tangolima), ES-SAV is to join the Summer fleet as well from tomorrow.

OM-HEX is the only 737-800 in the new leased aircraft, and the TUI competition was especially aiming at this type of aircraft.

ESSAK might be soon for CRL.

OMHEX is probably to receive the contest livery, with the logo of Brussels Airport as well...

When is OO-JAF expected to be painted?

The above article says that the 787 continued from Bonaire to Curacao, and that a replacement 767-300 from TUI Belgium has been sent from Amsterdam to Curacao. Seems to be not OO-JNL?

Our article also said that the 787 continued from Bonaire to Curaçao and that the passengers were rebooked on another flight to Amsterdam. But I was not aware it was on another TUI aircraft.

News :

OM-FEX to fly for TUI, maybe for a while, still from AirExplore.

And now TUI fly Belgium unveiled the 2 finalists of its contest... Creatures and birds...

.
Many are complaining, including me because there were better draws or Photoshops. I'm disappointed. Mine was a draw, highlighting the summer holidays.
