Trump unveiled new Air Force One livery

Post by lucas »

OMG, check this out :o
President Donald Trump unveiled the livery for the new Air Force One in an interview. I suggest you to read it, and watch the photos. Where is that beautiful, historical blue gone to? It is now an AF1 in the colors of his own private planes, it looks very similar to the BA retro 747s.

What do you think of the aircraft?

Luckily (in my opinion although) the congress wants to have a say in the new livery, as “The Air Force One plane is iconic. It is known throughout the world. It has been the representation of the United States, the power of the president. It is used in diplomatic and international relations as (a statement) that the United States has arrived."

The new colours look good, except when the cowlings are white, which is horrendous.

Boeing has estimated the new Air Force One B747 VIP jets it is building may arrive a year late — by the end of 2025 — and cost taxpayers US$500 million more than planned.
