Ostend airport starts building scrapping facilities

Post by Matthias »

Mayor of Ostend Bart Tommelein and Flemmish Minster of public works Ben Weyts started the construction of a new disassembly hall at Ostend Airport. Aerocircular, the new company, expects to scrap about 25 aircraft per year.

As far as I know, this is the first dedicated scrapping facility in Belgium. It’s nice to see something like this.
