OO-SFT stuck in Toronto / CYYZ.

Engine failed to start up upon pushback. Pax remained seated four hours on-board and they never found a suitable solution.
The rep told me the spare-part needed to come from BRU, strange since P&W is a US-Canada joint-venture...

No more YYZ flights until Dec.17th :(

YYZ will have been more than chaotic, Montreal will be without significant change!

Moreover, by keeping the pax 4 hours on-board, you kill all the chances of rerouting the same night (AC, LH have later flight towards Europe from YYZ). Overnights costs are then soaring...

One good news though :
OO-SFX that was in AMM since end of October for cabin fit is planned to run SN465 BRU-KLG tomorrow 12DEC.
Fingers crossed. If you fly to KGL tomorrow, check your gate to be a T one....

According to FR24 SFX is still in Amman. Will not run SN465 to KGL tomorrow; replaced by SFE.

H.A.
Again postponed.
According to Flightstats.com and FR24, OO-SFX is now to operate SN223 to BJL on Sunday 15DEC.

Well, fingers crossed.

H.A.
OO-SFX still in AMN.
Was to operate SN201 tomorrow but replaced by SFB per Flightstats.com.
Now planned for the service to Ouaga as SN255 on 18DEC per FR24.

Stopped crossing fingers. Going for a candle.

OO-SFU operating SN371 to DLA diverted to Kano.
Landing there at 16:50Z, first take off attempt 4 hours later followed by a return to the apron. Another hour later she took off for Douala.

4 hours grounded + another 1h after a dry run on the runway may point towards a technical issue rather than medical I guess.

There was no technical issue, only medical case but the aircraft couldn't leave before the landing fees were paid :?

Landing fees for medical emergencies? Is SN also expected to pay for the ambulance and the hospital costs?

Same thing happened. I think this is against all aviation rules. (IATA?)

Does flight number SN9908 has a special meaning ?

I don't think Nigerians at a regional airport are bothered by rules when they can extort some cash. It's one of the most corrupt countries on earth. :(

"Callsign 99xx" is generally a technical flight / maintenance check or positioning flight. ;)

1650 : landing
2036 : Off blocks
2040 : take off attempt, return to apron.
2140 : take off for good.

That it took nearly 4 hours for the "emergency" services to take care of the medical case and probably upload 5t of fuel I can believe it, but why the return after a first TO attempt?
Oh, they paid the landing fees but forgot the tip ?
"SN371 : take off clearance cancelled."

OO-SFP landed at AMM from DUS about 30 minutes ago as SN9903. Maintenance? Retrofit? Repaint?

OO-SFX currently taxiing at AMM as SN9910 (in preparation for T.O. at last?); due to do SN359 BRU-LAD tomorrow.

Which aircraft will be the next one to go to AMM?
OOSFC or OOSFF? And what about OOSFH? Is that aircraft retrofitted when she leaves AMM? I hope so because it’s just stupid to fly it back after a couple of months for the retrofitting...
