For the sake of cost cutting, EW might as well then take over the FRA-ADD from Lufty.

Earlier this week, as I kept wanting to go to Mogadishu despite the multiple flights cancellations due to the ATC strike, I finally ended up flying LH to ADD before an ADD-NBO with ET (in a good old 738NG)

This LH598 is operated by an A340 (actually flew D-AIGL, the oldest in LH fleet at 23 years) and I was surprised by the very low LF; predominantly ethnic.
I had a chat with the purser and she said it was rather frequent outside of the holidays seasons. On the day of my flight the LF was barely 50% but she said it may even be lower.
Not sure LH makes money in these conditions.

What is your source for this?
Afaik, SXD flights are not in any way managed from Brussels.

I think it was a tongue in cheek comment from André.

Eurowings applies for a blanket statement of authorisation to display the two-letter LX designator code of SWISS on Eurowings flights between the EU and the US. Why?

Perhaps the Geneva-NY route?

Eurowings also applies for a blanket statement of authorisation to display the two-letter OS designator code of Austrian Airlines on Eurowings flights between the EU and the US.

Any other one? The two-letter code SN of Brussels Airlines for example?

In fact, Airline Route gave me the answer: "Subject to US DoT Approval, Austrian and SWISS plans to codeshare on Eurowings service to the US from 27OCT19". And no need to codeshare with SN, since SN is Eurowings!

Unfortunately, the answer might be fairly easy. SN will become EW.
And/or SN will cease operating flights to the US.

Getting Belgian people used to travel under Eurowings titles?

The first A319 in Eurowings (semi-)livery OK-NEN is actually a Czech Airlines plane wet-leased to Eurowings/Brussels Airlines.

Will the SN A-330's operating in Eurowings colours on Brussels Airlines routes also have the Premium Economy cabin?

So, if I understand correctly, the start of the summer season means also the start of the integration of Brussels Airlines in Eurowings. Or am I wrong?

I got it this morning, I can confirm it wears a hybrid livery between EWG and CSA.
