Antonov (Ukraine) and Aerospace Industry Corporation of China set up a joint venture for series assembly of the AN225 in China. It also includes completing the second AN225 prototype. It was about time to double the fleet of this astonishing aeroplane!

Air Tahiti Nui is considering to start non-stop B787-9 service from Papeete to Paris, which would be the longest flight in the world. Can someone confirm that this would really be the longest?

LA is right on the route
Hard to justify the extra fuel over a short stop no ?

Air Tahiti Nui is currently flying that route with a stop in LAX using A340-300, Air France the same with B777-200
TN8 leaves PPT at 23:00, arriving at LAX at 09:10, departing at 11:25 and arriving at CDG at 07:20.
AF77 leaves PPT at 08:25, arriving at LAX at 17:50, departing at 21:05 and arriving at CDG at 16:50.

And there's also a flight by FrenchBee flying PPT-SFO-ORY, so it seems there's quite a market for flights between Papeete and Paris, but currently they all have over 2 hours "delay" due to the stop in the USA. It doesn't seem like non-stop flights would facilitate better departure/arrival times...

Meteorología adversa en Mánchester, París, Lille y Bruselas, tenlo en cuenta si vas a volar a estos destinos y consulta con tu compañía aérea.
