Norwegian in 2019

Post by Vic Diesel »

A Norwegian spokesperson announced a change in philosophy regarding some trans-Atlantic routes, as the destinations will be moved to major hubs and also the frequency will be adjusted:

until 30.03.2019: LGW-FLL, 3 weekly flights
from 31.03.2019-: LGW-MIA, one daily flight

until 30.03.2019: LGW-OAK, 6 weekly flights
from 31.03.2019: LGW-SFO, 4 weekly flights

This move comes a bit surprisedly as Norwegian had to report 30m USD operational loss in the third quarter of 2018, since the new destinations mean an increase both in costs and competition.
