Ryanair Holdings now expects its first B737 MAX to deliver in March/April 2020 at the earliest and the risk of further delay is rising. Only 20 MAX-200s will arrive in time for Summer 2020 which has cut S20 growth rate from 7% to 3%.

Ryanair heads to court today to try to prevent COO Peter Bellew from joining easyJet until 2021.

Ryanair plans to close at least one or two more bases, after the new design flaw in the B737 MAX was detected, thus further delaying delivery.

Ryanair to add a base in Nuremberg as it aims to quadruple its market share in the coming years, from 5 to 20%

Ryanair has again revised its summer 2020 schedule based on receiving just 10 MAX aircraft rather than the 20 as previously planned. As a result, expected traffic growth for fiscal 2021 is cut from 157 million to 156 million, as bases in Nuremberg and Stockholm Skavsta will close.

Ryanair could pay up to US$336 million for extras that it has asked Boeing to buy and install on 210 new B737 MAX aircraft on order.

Which extras, apart from extra seats?

New ancillary revenues? OK, I got the idea!

Other news:

Ryanair is to commence a new direct service from Cork to Zadar for its summer 2020 schedule.

https://www.aviation24.be/airlines/ryan ... k-airport/

Ryanair may not receive any B737 MAX aircraft from Boeing in time for its summer 2020 season due to European delays in testing and approving the grounded jets.

Ryanair will maintain its base at Girona after reaching an agreement with employees. Bases in Tenerife South, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Lanzarote will still close on 08 January 2020.

Buzz is mentioned as operator in the booking system, so it’s operated by Buzz, quite clear, no?
