Mismanagement should be as illegal, the world would be a better place.

Wildcat strikes are illegal indeed - that's why the unions are always very fast to say they "accept/cover" a wildcat strike. For the ongoing strike, the unions said it's covered by a strike notice from... January (source: main stream media).

About "mismanagement" at Aviapartner: I wonder if you have seen their annual account 2017. That is not "mismanagement": that is "survival modus". They were saved by the payout by the insurance company of their 22/03/2016 damage (4,5m). If not, I doubt they would still exist. Just three figures:
reported losses 20.699.488 €
own assetts: negative 11.838.189 €
own funds: 4.952.269 € (own funds = invested by the shareholders).

Then two handling agents that have a monopoly at Brussels Airport are in financial difficulties, you have got to explain me that!

Update work stoppage baggage handler Aviapartner: no flights are handled by Aviapartner on Friday 26 October, until 27 October 6 am. We keep you updated about the situation.

Isn't that a bit early to say, since the negotiations are just starting? What if there is a deal in an hour? I suppose the workers will start to work sooner then, no?

This is what Brussels Airport has communicated.

First of all, this strike is a disgrace.

Secondly, if Aviapartner is in such bad shape, can't BRU develop their own handling?

Total madness, those guys. Total ignorance of the plain fact that the company is in deep trouble. I have posted their 2017 figures this morning, but I was wrong there: those were the 2016 figures (they were 10 months too late, hence my mistake in dates). I will post their 2017 figures right now, and they are far worse then 2016. "Virtually bankrupt" is the right description.

So if I understand well the employees are screwed so tell me a good reason not to strike after years of frustration.
Why are you always defending the big money can you try for once to understand the other part or is the leading management always right!
Hasta la victoria siempre.
