Those are actual, real plans? (I didn't say realistic, just the idea that someone wants to go and launch such an operation seems... ludicrous). Are we sure this is not just some sort of joke or PR stunt?

La Nova is a virtual airline, with the same virtual aircraft as Powdair: a virtual ATR-42. Or maybe a virtual Do-328? The only that is real about them, is that you have to pay for virtual tickets with real money.

I hope that that the lcy-anr connection will be served by a real established airline and not by just another adventure company who still needs to prove themself. Somehow i am hoping it would be BA cityflyer. La nova.....i would not put my money on that, another failure guaranteed. Too many times seen that at ANR. ANR can miss this.

@Boeing767copilot : to Antwerp Airport standards, ATR 72 is not such a very small aircraft
but i hope they will fill them with 72 seats instead of 36/56
of course it's not a 767!

Sorry, @AAI, I cannot agree there. Until the arrival of TUI (which I continue to regret, but I must admit there are good points to it too) VLM's F50's were the biggest planes here. So yes an ATR72 is quite big an airliner for ANR.

There is no comparison between TUI's tourist operations (one or two per week, per destination) and the ANR-LCY service (at least two flights per business day, to make a realistic offer).

Forgot that Fly Nova please. It's a hoax. Just read what is written in small font style and almost white-on-white: "...flylanova is a flight broker and as such arranges carriage by air on behalf of its customers by chartering aircraft from third-party aircraft operators as agent of its customers. flylanova only acts as an intermediary, does not itself operate aircraft and is not a contracting or an indirect carrier..."

Still thinking it's real? Then look at their "Abo" = the subscriptions. For 1.000, 2.000 of 3.000 you get 10%, 20% or 30% discount on the normal fares. Euh... 1.000 2.000 3.000 in which currency: EUR or CHF? And what are those normal fares? I haven't seen them.

On top, they say "General Condition on request". Business clients don't trust such guys.

Can you please explain why you ‘regret’ the arrival of TUI at ANR? At least the airport has a steady income and is getting known to the bigger public. Please don’t copy the thinking of the green party on this forum. Nowhere in the world an airport can survive on business traffic only (or you must have the traffic of Le Bourget). Look at Rotterdam airport, 1 ‘business’ destination (LCY), many holiday destinations and hundreds of biz jets per month (and also closely located to Schiphol). And the airport is crucial for the local economy. I wonder if you have flown recently at rush hour from BRU, with the queues at security and passport control. No wonder also vacationers prefer to travel more and more from regional airports. So, again, why is TUI not welcome at ANR?

And this is no fake news:

this Sunday 18th November, around 13h30 local, a VVIP will land at ANR. Doors for the aerodrome open at 12h00, and entertainment starts from 12h30. Entry is strictly restricted to well-behaved children and their parents and grand parents.

I am in favor of promoting projects for charity, but mobilizing aviation journalists to announce fake flights from a fake airline at Antwerp Airport is even a step too far for me.

I sincerely hope that, next time, marketers will come up with something more original.
