Unfortunately there are people on Earth who should really care about this advice...

Indeed: it must be his 5th or 6th bankruptcy in the air transport business. How can any serious airline rely on such a person as CEO, or at any other function for that matter?

Its these kind of people who ruin it for others.
The application and approval for a Belgian AOC could take longer, too many failures in the past.
Belgium isn't a easy country to get a AOC.

Everyone has a dream and a businessmodel but not everyone has deep pockets. :?
Who is next? Air Belgium?

First official publication of the bankruptcy:
https://kbopub.economie.fgov.be/kbopub/ ... =476635729

First curator (liquidator), appointed by the trade court (Ondernemingsrechtbank): Dirk De Maeseneer
https://www.lovius.be/over-ons/ons-team ... -maeseneer

(I expect a second curator has also been appointed - probably also from Lovius Lawyers)

I refer to my previous posts about these so-called Dutch investors taking over VG over FVG (even though he was outld and passed away after) and then getting their hands on HQ.

They didn't know what they were doing and neither was Air Belgium. They were counting on free hand-outs from China but they don't understand that when time comes to settle the big bills, the Chinese are not going to follow them with their wallets wide open.

This is also why it took them forever to acquire AOC's. If you don't know what you're doing, a lengthy AOC application is the time to wake up and realise that the BCAA is not punishing you, they're telling you "are you sure that you have thought this through and want to do this? “.

In the current environment it is possible to start a lucrative airline in Belgium and it is possible to grow it. But your business case has to be brilliant and mega perfect and only then, you will get a shot at a sustainable aviation business with thin margins.

OO-SBA has been deleted from the Belgian register.

On a side note: being one of the employees that got fired this week, I can hardly discribe the mental and financial abuse I (and my colleagues) had to go through since the end of Thomas Cook.

This guy should be prohibited for life from entering the aviation business! His history is a succession of failures and bankruptcies.

Otherwise, I would have sent him to the electric chair to prevent him from making any further nuisance ;)

Apparently (and thankfully) the re-start isn't a success.

"Il ferait des ravages" if he success to do it...

Already 4 Airlines in his Curriculum Vitae...

Even my grand mother can manage this airline better than him...

If he wants to see this airline take off again, he should better give the brand name to someone else.
