Thanks for posting the information! I guess they were taken by surprise that the demand for the scenic flight was that high and will have to perform some extra organisational work to set up the afternoon flight. Let's see if and when booking will start again...

i'm not sure why it's so cheap...
it's for charity, you could increase the price a bit

My messages reflect my personal opinion which may be different than yours. I beleive a forum is made to create a debate so I encourage people to express themselves, the way they want, with the ideas they want. I expect the same understanding in return.
Re: Air Belgium in 2018
I think they wanted/needed to operate the flight anyway with a full passenger load. Hence they needed to find a ticket price that would guarantee a full aircraft. But admittedly, they would have been able to fill up the aircraft with 75 EUR economy seats as well...

Ivan

Even when it's cheap there is someone to argue, but I was also happily surprised about the fares...

Me too. Usually, when it's too good to be true, it's not true...except when flying the Air Belgium rehearsal flightairtrainer wrote: ↑16 Apr 2018, 16:13Even when it's cheap there is someone to argue, but I was also happily surprised about the fares...

Re: Air Belgium in 2018
So just waisted one full day looking after that flight, guys they say tomorrow at 10!!!!!
Re: Air Belgium in 2018
I wonder if the delay is done on purpose to maintain attention on their owned medias or because they really struggle to operate an extra rehearsal flight. I hardly believe they couldn’t anticipate the success of the first flight given the bargain price in economy. Many people are now waiting for getting on their first flight ever.

For the lucky ones who managed to book a place on the first flight: can you book several seats at once? Are they (temporarily) blocked until you complete the payment? Are the payment methods the same as on the regular booking module (i.e. credit card and Maestro)?

Just registered to reply to your questions:MIVB-reiziger wrote: ↑16 Apr 2018, 20:52For the lucky ones who managed to book a place on the first flight: can you book several seats at once? - Yes, you can book multiple seats at once - even in different booking classes.
(I first picked economy but then a business class seat became available, so I booked that instead)
- Since Air Belgium seems to be using a Shopify store for these special flights (https://store.airbelgium.com), I think the seats are blocked once they are in your shopping cart.
- You can pick the type of meal you would like (Kosher, Gluten, ...), as part of the booking
- You can pay with credit card. I am not sure about Maestro.
