Apparently OO-ABB was used on a Boeing 737-200 back in 2005 ;-) I am confident that flightradar24 will clear that out.

Indeed! And uploaded in 2005, I misread that! :)

The guys from FR24 probably also thaught "seeing is believing" - thus "Let's wait till she flies before we adjust the photo".

I don't think that there is already a brand new picture available in the jetphotos.net database, hence the old picture.

It has passed over my place one minute before landing and I can confirm that it is a 4-engines 737 ;-). And fairly quiet!

Nope.
I'm about 800m offset to RWY07R but she was still at about 1500ft so way too far at night.
Maybe if Nikon had a powerful enough flash but then I'd probably fry all the neighbourhood...

How many maintenance facilities CRL has? On the aerial view of CRL I can't seem to find any other than SABCA.

Good reason to fly it to BRU first as Sabena Aerospace will be working on them.

Why I think they will do the final checks and maybe even the painting? Stand 514 in Brussels is quite a give away, The only maintenance companies in BRU capable of maintaining this type are LH Technics and Sabena Aerospace. LH Tech has its own apron situated next to/partial behind the new DHL hub.

The plane will be towed to the lufthansa hangar in the following hours. The second Air Belgium plane is planned to arrive around noon.
