Within a few weeks, their honeymoon weeks will be over. Optimism will then be replaced by realism: the figures, the invoices, the bills, the problem with the load factor, the problem with the GDS, the problem with the call center.
Sooner or later, someone will have to pay for the Libreville debackle from last weekend (two AF flights cancelled, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded = hotels, meals, rebookings, refunds). Someone will have to pay for the two flights with almost zero paying passengers: the first flight (03/06) and the inauguration flight (06/06). Or for the four flights with almost zero paying passengers, unless U-Tour fills the plane tomorrow.
And what will happen when their annual account 2017 will be published? Remember: it was a year with only expenses and no income.
The above is my personal opinion. The following is a quote from Richard Branson: "...If you want to be a Millionaire, start with a billion dollars and launch a new airline..."
Hey Passenger
I have the impression you don't want them to succeed or is it something else?

PROBABLY= wild guess.
Indeed. It's your right to state that it was around 25%. But when I post something that is far less then above wild guess, some people ask that my personal opinion is removed, thus ignoring the basic forum rule that everyone is allowed a personal opinion.
Example:

Then the comment should be removed. It would have been different if it said:I think the strike was not justified, meaning a personal opinion. “The strike was not justified” is a blanket statement and should be then backed up with proof that it wasn’t. So far I haven’t seen any, on the contrary.
Consider this a general remark:
If you keep stirring the pot, expect to find yourself on vacation from the kitchen quite quickly.
There’s absolutely no use bringing up a post from a different thread in here. Especially one part of a discussion that’s already closed for good reason.
If you want to keep participating, keep it civil and get past the personal attacks.
This morning Air France flight AF977, operated by Air Belgium OO-ABA was returning from Libreville, holded above Dyon for about twenty minutes then headed to Paris Orly airport. (reason unknown but most likely due to airport capacity reduction at CDG ? )
.
.
Five hours later the aircraft took off Orly airport for a landing at CDG less than twenty minutes later.

And sadly enough, police "officers" at BRU are arrogant, unfriendly, lazy, and basically useless...
ah generalisations, I tend to disagree. I never had a negative experience so far. And just a small quote from a former indian colleague when he heard I was Belgian... mmm Belgium, I only remember one thing vividly of a very short trip there and that was the friendly police officer at the airport passport control who greeted me in Hindi.
I still don't understand what the AB "Premium" product consists of. Eco seats with more pitch ? Regular eco seats with upgraded meal service ? Flat beds but reduced service ( sounds weird though ) ? If it is a separate cabin, any pictures one can share ?

Have a look on AirBelgium.com, you will find all the info and pictures you need.
Thanks, i did already many times, but IMHO, those pictures are not real. Do you see how wide the aisle is ? And the seats look like regular Eco, except with more pitch. I Think this is only an artist impression. Till now, I did not find any real picture of this separate cabin. Anyone has a hint where I could find some ?

At present there is no Premium. There 45 business class seats and 212 economy seats. But for the next season there will be 18 business class seats, 21 premium economy seats (7-across, more legroom and better meals than economy) and 265 economy seats (8-across). I hope this answers your question.
