So for maintenance they'll always have to fly to BRU ?

(makes the decision for CRL even worse)

Seems that the Belgian flag besides the registration is backwards contrary to virtually any other airline in the industry. You have to give it to them, they are persistent in having the wrong flag on their planes

(OK, i'll stop mentioning it now, guess it's my tiny OCD issue)

Nope, that is why (as many rumours say) the A343's will be stickerd at LH Technics.

With their sales opening any day now, I hope they will drop their misleading information, and inform overseas passengers more correctly then they did in their press releases from 31st January 2018:

EN:
A renewed Brussels South Airport will connect Air Belgium passengers to Greater China.
Air Belgium selects Brussels South Airport as its home base. The airport will undergo a metamorphosis to further strengthen its international position.
http://airbelgium.be/en/press/brussels- ... ater-china

FR:
Un tout nouvel aéroport de Brussels South Charleroi Airport emmènera les passagers d’Air Belgium en Chine.
Air Belgium choisit Brussels South Charleroi Airport, qui va se transformer pour renforcer son positionnement international.
http://airbelgium.be/en/press/aeroport- ... m-en-chine

NL:
http://airbelgium.be/en/press/brussels- ... na-brengen

The name of your airport, Air Belgium, is Brussels South Charleroi Airport. It's not Brussels South Airport, as you say to your English website visitors. And if you prefer to use only one city name, then it must be Charleroi, and not Brussels.

Funny enough, if you look at the satellite view of BRU on Google Maps, you have the impression that a white A340 has been sitting there for quite a while!
