The beginning of the end!!!

I was hopeful but even the lcy flights are not that succesful.

VLM do yourselfa favour. Close the books and get rit of those F50. No future for this company anymore.

For all the people involved, let's hope (or keep on dreaming?) the Chinese money keeps flowing and they can settle themselves with a 'renewed' fleet on some sustainable routes + some extra business from The Aviation Factory.

Does someone know why are there 5 instead of 2 weekly flights between MUC and MBX in the VLM booking system (only) last two weeks of August?

I flew with them this week ANR-ZRH and back.
Monday morning ANR-ZRH, around 85%
Tuesday evening ZRH-ANR, 30%
Friday evening ANR-ZRH (flown by a friend of mine), 36%

Monday and tuesday flights were on OO-VLN, the aircraft showed its age but apart from that I have to say the service was excellent on both flights. I wish them all the best !

doing our best with Vizion Air (which is since one year a separate company with 3 aircraft) to send as much money we can to VLM. They do a great job !

It seems that from 20 August MUC to MBX will be cancelled. Flights scheduled to return to ANR from MUC on Wednesdays and Fridays at 915LT.

But flights ANR-MBX-ANR and MBX-MUC are still in there?
I even see 3 flights from MUC to ANR on wednesdays and friday's....?
And daily flights from ANR to MBX in second half of august...?
Strange schedule.... :?

Today I have flown with the VLM for the first time in my life.

Route: MBX - MUC
Aircraft: F50, OO-VLN (Vision Air Livery)
LF: 13 on board (3 of them, including me, disembarked in MUC)

Superb service for the short flight. Got a coffee, wine, muffin and a small pack of nacho-chips. Flight attendants (2) were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend to fly with them. Will use their service again if they keep on flying. Hopefully this will be the case.

Congrats! Glad to hear of your good experience with VLM.
Just wondering:Did you make use of their promotional tariff? Or you just booked the 'normal' price ?
Will you return with them aswell to MBX? :)

Two stewardesses? That's exceptional. Usually only one ( and given the number of passengers it's quite sufficient).

Maybe someone in training?
In any case, the number of flight attendants required is not defined by the number of passengers on board, but by the number of seats (1 per started fraction of 50).
In expectional circumstances a single flight can be approved with less than the mandatory number of flight attendants, but strict rules have to be followed. (Eg. Limited number of passengers on board).

Thank you! :)

I booked the flights during Easter promotional time. I payed 39€ per flight meaning 78€ for both flights. I am also returning with them to Maribor.

It can be that one was in training since one was quite young. The first officer said that he has not heard that F50s would be replaced with ATR42s but also said that it would be a logical solution.
