In this article*, something new is mentioned
"On entend la rumeur que Fedex pourrait déménager toutes ses installations de Cologne à Liège"
"we heard the gossip that Fedex may move all operations from CGN to LGG"

It's the first time I hear that. Anybody would have more info ?
Other than the wishfull thinking of some ?
it's been mentioned many times that LGG is saturated, won't be fixed that easily

Let's hope that IrAero will be more reliable than I-Fly and VIM 😁

National Airlines and Navitrans USA said they were set to launch a weekly round-the-world service using a 747-400F, operating Chicago-Liege-Baku-Hong Kong-Narita-Anchorage-Chicago.

The service starts on 1 June and will operate year-round.
Did this finally happen?

Hello André ex Sabena #26567,

Thanks a lot. I am not really a newcomer, though. I had to create a new ID because I could not login using my old one! :D .

Have fun, any way,

A new freight airline in Liege?

ACE Belgium Freighters seeks a foreign air carrier permit and exemption authority from US regulators, as it intends to initially operate ACMI services on behalf of other operators to the US once its AOC is obtained. Service from its Liege hub with its own aircraft will begin thereafter.

CAL is aiming for / working on a Belgian AOC. Airline is named ACE, idea is to register one of their 747F on the Belgian AOC so they can also make use of Belgian traffic rights.
