For the passengers of Sunday's delayed flight Ryanair FR-2986 Valencia-Brussels VLC-BRU: you are entitled to the indemnity as per EU-Rule 261/2004: Ryanair decided to use "your aircraft" to do a Valencia-Santiago-Valencia, when the aircraft had to leave for Brussels: FR-2985 Brussels-Valencia arrived on time indeed (arr at 12h45, ETA was 13h10).

For the passengers of Wednesday's delayed flight FR-2926 Lisbon-Brussels LIS-BRU, arrival in Brussels with 4,5 hours delay (ETA 13h50, actual arrival 18h21): you are entitled to the indemnity as per EU-Rule 261/2004: Ryanair decided to use "your aircraft" to do a Lisbon-Faro-Lisbon, when the aircraft had to leave from Lisbon to Brussels: FR-2925 Brussels-Lisbon arrived at LIS with just 34 minutes delay.

Aircraft arrived with 20 minutes delay from LGW (London), so it looks indeed like AOG at BRU:

can those passengers claim indemnity as well?

SFO stuck in FNA indeed...
can they claim indemnity?

just thinking that of the mods allow these type of posts it should be done for every delay and cancellation out of a Belgian airport and not just one carrier?

After landing yesterday evening I saw a United 777 parked on Apron 3, about stand 314, rather unexpected sight at 20:30 local.

Checking on FR24 it seems this N782UA went AOG after flying the UA950 from IAD yesterday and is still a sitting duck at 11:00 this morning.

No big deal - but I just heared there was a computer problem at Swissport BRU this afternoon, causing delays for luggage handling.

Some kind of land survey seems more likely.

They don’t always perform surveys in the visible light spectrum, though. OO-GPS often performs survey flights, not only GPS calibration flights.

Thermography probably. Last month the very same aircraft performed that kind of mission overhead Liège.

Snowfall expected on Friday: allow for traffic disruptions – flight delays are possible. Brussels Airport winter operations teams will make every effort to reduce the impact on the airport to a minimum.

Snow is expected at Brussels Airport this afternoon, https://www.aviation24.be/airports/bruss ... -february/

KLM cancelled a number of flights, yesterday evening Brussels AIrlines decided to cancel 7 flights that were scheduled this afternoon (Venice, Gothenburg, Birmingham, Milan, Basel, Vienna and Hanover). Kim Daenen told newspaper Sudinfo that all passengers on these flights have been informed and rescheduled.
