Rejected take-off by a small plane and stuck on the rwy due to some technical issue. Problem solved and rwy open again. Was closed for half an hour max., only 1 training flight had to hold for a while, so almost no operational impact. The TUIFly E190 luckily landed just before the troublesome take off attempt.

So, a standard missed approach on a Qantas (note the lack of the letter U) flight is now World News?
Strange to not see every major airport mentioned on ABC’s World News feed every single day.

ABC wasn’t even able to get the name of the airline correct, if you check their tweet.
They may have changed it by now, I can’t be arsed to check, but it does paint a picture about them.

Ah, sorry, I read you the other way around. "sic!" is the usual expression, in such a case :)
But good to see I am not the only one to watch language and spelling with a critical eye...
And yes, we all know how reliable the media are, these days. Sad, very sad.

(for first-time-flyers, understanding all safety instructions isn't easy, me thinks)

Well why not... If there are never any failures&incidents in your company, no (human) resource problems at all, no organisational problems, no budget problems and you are heavily involved in marketing and name-branding, why should you not invest time and money to make a name change! It's a matter of knowing your priorities!
