That's even worse...

What long haul airlines except of the home carrier do we welcome now:
Air Canada, Air Transat, ANA, Cathay Pacific, Delta, Emirates, Etihad, Ethiopian, Hainan, Icelandair, Qatar, Rwandair, Thai, United, WOW Air, ...

Did I forgot some?
WOW air is not long haul!
Neither Icelandair than or...?

Hello! :)
According to some memories from my study years, flight times are categorized as such:

Short haul => 0h -> 1h59
Medium haul => 2h00 -> 5h59
Long haul => 6h00 -> <

I would consider Qeshm to Tehran as longhaul, or are those flights discontinued already ?

Yes, Qeshm still flies to Tehran.

Eurocontrol defines short-haul routes as shorter than 1,500 km (810 nmi), medium-haul between 1,500 and 4,000 km (810 and 2,160 nmi) and long-haul routes as longer than 4,000 km (2,200 nmi).

Yes, Qeshm still flies to Tehran.
Does anyone know where the Qeshm flights can be booked ? even on their own website, Brussels is not listed as an origin/destination.. I looked at a few OTA's, but no flights showed up on Tuesday to Tuesday flights to IKA in the coming weeks.

Travel agents basically, I once found a Belgian website promoting the tickets it was in Farsi.

I read on airlinersnet that CX is closing down Düsseldorf service to open Brussels connection. What are the chances of Cathay succeeds in Brussels, particularly as there are quite a lot of flights to Asia now

So is it realistic for Asiana and Singapore to open connections to Brussels as well? In nutshell, is the market between brussels/Belgium and Asia that big?

Thanks

I think there's a market yes, especially as CX has excellent connections to the South of China (e.g. Fujian Province) and the rest of Asia / Oceania.

That I don't know... of course there will be cannibalism on other routes like e.g. Thai on BKK or HU on PEK and PVG...

Cheers,
