Makes me think to those mails I recieve sometimes: "congratulations, you have won 50.000.000 € with the Spanish Euromillions. Please send us 500 € for the bank transfer costs, and we'll send you the 50 mio".

Sounds quite similar to the way I inherited Nigerian gold mines, was awarded with hundreds of thousands of Euro for nothing... all linked to that tiny and very innocent request of transferring money to them in advance. ;)
