I know :)
But the news is not exactly big for ryanair, while its big for LGG, so here is a better place to discuss it imho

Very strange thing: LGG was always a good option for low cost companies but the (politic) rule in Wallonia was clear: all cargo in LGG, all pax in CRL, with very few exceptions.
Yep, the federal money went to Walonia with its regional airport and Flanders with its seaports.
That was/is the agreement. The famous "wafelijzer politiek" , still noticeable at the NMBS/SNCB :?

Another nice one from pagtour
Image
Shows all the big players and one empty ball on the top ;)
We can already see that ABC isnt that high... not a good sign.
Qatar is also pretty low, it will be one hell of a volume disaster the day they leave
Very weird ordering in the end

Don't be crazy :)
The battle is LGG vs LUX as hub, not just for a few flights (and LGG will not win that one it seems)
But we see that those cargo companies are spreading the flights to more little hubs than before : ams, zaz, mxp
But qatar is not gone yet, let's not be pessimistic with christmas wishes ;)

FedEx is doing well at LGG !
+ 200 jobs in 2017 and 100 millions EUR investment in 2 years. But the airport desperatly needs new aircraft parking spots !

Moreover, in early October, Air Bridge Cargo decided to establish its main hub at Liege Airport
Main hub ! Let's be serious ! Moscow is a hub, Liege is just a station !

Are those new buildings coming where the hill is where you can spot very good (near the Park Inn Hotel)?
